Things employers look for

Hello, this is my blog I have been working on this for literacy I tried to do as much work as possible and I included a photo even though I didn't have to.  

We were meant to include a title what employers are looking for and a background. I chose this background because I think it looks good. I did the fonts to make it look better since I have nearly gotten all the stars I am meant to get I tried harder to get it cyan so I didn't have to add to much more. Here is what mine looks like...

I did good with the fonts, facts and making sure the spelling was correct and adding a photo even though I didn't need to. Maybe next time I could do the layout different and better. I think I did well all together. Any feedback or things I could work on please comment.

In this task we had to write information about the jobs and use information we found on couriers. I like how I didn't skip any and I tried my best. Next time I might need to change the colours but that doesnt really matter. Any feedback please let me know

Vet poster

What we had to do in this task was make a poster on our dream job. My dream job is a vet because I love animals. The thing I think I did good was with writing the facts because I wrote a lot and I wrote what I needed to . Next time I probably need to put more effort in and make sure it makes sense and maybe decorate it better. I think I could of included photos. But its quite cool how much they earn and they are very brave because they see animals that are hurt. If there is any feedback please comment it.

Vision of my future

It was a easyish task but still a bit hard. I found it easy because its about me. The hardest part was writing the message. I did good with the about however I need to use more describted words next time. If theres any feedback please comment!.

 This is my descriptive writing I did.

In this task we had to choose a sea animal and use the words in the box to write about it. I like how I used good words and made sure they made sense. Next time I need to write more. Any feedback please let me know

 This is  my sea life stats I have created.

It was a easyish task but still a bit hard. I found it easy on the names. The hardest part was either the facts or where you find them. I did good with the facts however I need to use more describted words next time. If theres any feedback please comment!.

 In my literacy session I did GBR (Great barrier reef) at risk.

what we had to do in this task was fill in the gaps. The thing I did good was highlighted the words that I did. Next time I probably need to put more effort in and make sure its right. If there is any feedback please comment it.

Attribute organizer

 Hello.

This is my attribute organizer I have created on continents.

We got a selection of questions and had to answer them, and include photos.

I like that I did some extra facts and tried my best to include the right photos.

I need to work on the spelling next time. If theres any feedback please comment them in the comments. It would help me, because ill know what else to work on next time.

I made this Olympics thing in my literacy session.

What we had to do is choose a sport and include the rules.

I think that I did well because I included the photos and I included a facts , I also think I did well because I included all the rules there are. Next time I need to change the background color to a color that matches better. If you have any feedback please comment!.

Kia ora,

I made this attribute organizer in my class. What we had to do is choose some olympians and write facts about them.

What I think I did well was including a good amount of facts and enough information. What I need to work on is including more colour. Please leave any feedback in the comments

Olympics tokyo 2020

 This is my poster I created for Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the reason I created it is because we have a literacy theme every 2-3 weeks.

I think i did well in a way because i included the logo, I also included some of the sports and when it started. I need to work on the background because its a bit plain. I couldn't change the background though because otherwise you could see the background of the images. If there is any feedback then please comment.

This is my Fact file I created by google slides.

This task was fun but hard because I had to include the photos and I chose to include 5-10 facts for each planet. I think I did well with including more then 5 facts and good photos, although I did well with the facts I think I could still write more next time. I personally think next time ill do more work on it but please let me know what you think in the comments. If there is any feedback please let me know:)

Writing task

 This is my writing task I created for my literacy

We had to create a theme I chose space as my theme, for the writing task I wrote facts about it. I think I did well with writing the facts and including lots of information. I need to include more pictures next time. If there is any feedback please comment.

 This is the calendar I have created, it is a slide about the seasons and what happens through out the seasons, here is my one.I did well with writing my seasons and what month there in, I personally need to work on being more descriptive about what happens during the season. My seven fish story retold

 Today in literacy i decided to do a task where you basically have to recreate a story called the seven fish. I chose to do this because it seemed fun and easy. Here is mine I dont like it but yeah

I think I did well with the pictures. I need to include more of the story next time though.

Jacinda Arden letter

We are doing a theme of matariki.

We get a theme every 3 weeks and have to complete tasks to get stars, there is 2 compulsory tasks that we must complete. I chose the matariki letter to Jacinda Ardern to try persuade her to make matariki a public holiday, it was a compulsory task. Here is my letter, 

I think I did well with explaining why i think it would be a good idea. I think I need to work on more words that describe it better, and maybe explain different ideas. If there is anything you think i could change please comment. 

My circus poster

Here is my circus poster I created while doing literacy.

This is the poster altogether, I included links that went to the animal. We had to include the animal and what its talent is. I just chose random animals 3 of them are circus animals ive seen, the camel I haven't see. The elephant is on there I didn't include a link for that.

I think what I did good was I found some pictures that showed them doing the talent, but I think that I need to include more information about there talent.

Here is my marble cone snail, I did this as a task for my literacy. Pretty much we had to complete a poster about the marble cone snail, and include why it is dangerous and a picture of it. 

I think i did well with how the layout of the poster is, the thing I need to work on is including more color maybe and more about it.

This is a attribute organizer that i did.

It was worth 3 stars, i did it at literacy as a task. What you had to do is put a picture in and put a few facts in the boxes.

 

I think i did good because i finished it and i included as much facts as i could.

My video game character

 

In literacy, we had a theme of video games. Theres a selection of tasks worth a certain amount of stars. Each week we have to get 10 stars. I chose the create your own video game character worth 3 stars. We had to write are thoughts and what made us make this in the side as notes. My theme was signs mostly. I think next time i do this i might put a bit more effort and add more features, ill also use different things that are not signs.

 In literacy I have chosen to do a stress brochure this task was worth 2 stars. The aim was 10 stars by the end of the week. The teachers chose a theme and this week was its all in your mind. Here is what i made.

 This is the stress brochure we had to create in literacy it is another task. This one was worth 2 stars. It was a easy task but abit hard. Next time I think I need to do more. what I found hard was thinking of stuff that would help.

It was a very easy task to do. The way I did it was by looking up brain labels. I think maybe next time they can make it harder, and I think that I need to not look it up next time.
